This year we will emphasize to build image of our club in the society. We will do more community services, projects in our community to create better awareness about Rotary and Environment. This year we have selected environment to be our main emphasis, we plan to do many activities of tree plantations and creating environment awareness. We would deliver talks on environment and reduction of carbon emissions. We also look forward to design strategies for organizations working in our community to reduce the GHG emissions. On a longer term goal we look forward to install Gobar Gas Plants in the rural area of our vicinity where the bio mass is in abundance. We also feel that it is very important to create awareness in kids so that they become better citizens tomorrow.
Along with our club projects we also would deliver awareness lectures for protection from electromagnetic radiations and improving health in natural way.
There after we also look forward in assisting Rotary International in their Polio Eradication program. We are already working with local orphanage and providing support for the orphans.
I would also like to congratulate our secretary Rtn. Nisheeth Srivastava for his selection for the further studies in Carbon Management from the world famous University of Edinburgh. This would also help us to do a lot of International Service Projects with the UK clubs.
I hope that this New Year would bring tremendous opportunities in the field of International and community service projects.
