It is indeed heartening to know that Rotary club of Ghaziabad Chiranjeev Vihar is developing its E Bulletin and website. Congratulations for same.
Using computer/internet technology to facilitate communication within a rotary club and between club and District/R.I. will go a long way in providing text and visual messages on rotary to all concerned at economical cost.
As it is, most rotarians and rotary entities are computer savvy and we should use this medium to communicate more often with all rotarians. With time if you make the website interactive, you would enable members to keep their contact data updated as well as contribute articles and other important information to each other on the net.
The greater challenge will be to keep the website current and maintain it . Many a good website projects fall into disuse with time. The initiating leadership does a good job but coming leaders may not be interested in maintaining the website. Therefore it would be a good idea to form a team of present and future rotary leaders and keep them involved and motivated in maintaining the website.The E bulletin may be regularly posted on the website.
You may also like to hold special demonstration lessons for club members as to method to access the website, navigate around it and make changes in their personal profiles/contacts if your website allows such a feature.
